Albergue Victoria in Cirueña is a private albergue offering dormitory and private room accommodation for pilgrims on the Camino Francés. Opened in 2014 on Plaza del Horno, this small albergue sits directly on the Camino route in the quiet village of Cirueña. It offers 10 dormitory beds across two rooms and 2 private double rooms. In addition, pilgrims have access to breakfast, a communal dinner, laundry facilities, individual lockers, covered bike storage, and free Wi-Fi. Host Amparo speaks Spanish, French, and English. Moreover, the albergue opens from 1 April to 31 October.
Conveniently located 6 km before Santo Domingo de la Calzada, the albergue gives pilgrims a quieter overnight stop on Stage 9 of the Camino de Santiago. Furthermore, the vineyards of Rioja Alta and the monastery of San Millán de la Cogolla are both nearby.

Albergue Victoria is a peaceful and friendly stop on a quieter section of the Camino Francés. Many pilgrims enjoy staying in Cirueña instead of continuing to the busier streets of Santo Domingo. In addition, Amparo’s communal dinners and warm welcome regularly receive positive reviews from walkers.
Note: Cirueña has very limited services, with no ATM or large shops in the village. Therefore, it is best to buy supplies before arrival. Additionally, check-out is by 09:30.
