36 bed Refugio Gaucelmo in Rabanal del Camino is owned and run by the Confraternity of St James (uk organisation) and run by member volunteers.
Formerly an old parish house this award winning Albergue provides traditional style hospitality to Pilgrims along the Camino Frances. Pilgrims can enjoy the beautiful gardens, classic afternoon tea and Gregorian chants from the Monks next door.
36 beds on a first come first served basis.
They are a donative – meaning Pilgrims pay a donation for their stay that goes towards the upkeep of the refugio.

Fantastic albergue on the Camino and loved the tea in the garden as well. good place to stay over.
Fabulous oasis right beside the church and monastery in Rabanal. Wonderful welcome from the Hospitaleras, lovely accommodation, beautiful garden and such a treat serving afternoon tea and cakes in the afternoon. Definitely one not to miss!
