Albergue La Casa del Peregrino Ángel in Navarrete is a private albergue offering accommodation exclusively for pilgrims with a credential on the Camino Francés. It was opened in 2011 by Ángel, a pilgrim himself, in his father’s former home on Calle Las Huertas. In addition, it sits just 10 metres from the Camino route in Navarrete’s historic centre.

Moreover, the albergue offers 18 dormitory beds and 1 twin room. Fabric sheets are included, along with individual lockers for security. There is also a communal dinner for €10, breakfast for €3, free herbal teas, and laundry facilities including a washing machine and dryer.

Furthermore, guests have access to a terrace and bike storage. Pilgrim credentials can also be issued on site, which is helpful for arrivals without documentation. The albergue is open from 1 April to 31 October.

Ideally located in the centre of Navarrete, it sits directly on the Camino route. As a result, Logroño is just 12 km ahead on Stage 8 of the Camino de Santiago.
