Albergue Essentia in Redecilla del Camino is a private albergue offering accommodation exclusively for pilgrims with a credential on the Camino Francés. Located on Calle Mayor, directly on the Camino route in the first village of Burgos province, this small 10-bed albergue offers rooms with 4 and 6 beds. It also features a communal dinner, breakfast, home-baked bread, individual lockers, laundry facilities, covered bike storage, and free Wi-Fi. In addition, pets are welcome. Host José Manuel lives on site. The albergue is open from 1 March to 31 October.

Conveniently located in Redecilla del Camino, the albergue sits close to the Iglesia de la Virgen de la Calle and its famous Romanesque baptismal font. Furthermore, the municipal San Lázaro albergue and a local bar-tienda are just a short walk away. A piano and guitar are also available for pilgrims.

Note: with only 10 beds, advance booking is strongly recommended. Additionally, pets are welcome and no pilgrim credential is required to stay, which is uncommon on this stretch of the Camino.
