The Old Seaman is one of those hidden gems on the Camino de Santiago that pilgrims discover and immediately recommend. Owner Juan goes above and beyond — cooking home-made vegetarian pizza from scratch, serving his father’s home-brewed Asturian cider, and creating an atmosphere that one pilgrim couple described as among the highlights of their entire 800 km walk. Furthermore, the handcrafted decor and personal touches give the B&B a warmth and character that no larger hotel can replicate.
