Hotel Bemon Playa is Somo’s largest hotel and the most popular with Camino pilgrims wanting a comfortable, well-located base at the end of the coastal stages approaching Santander. Moreover, the Italian restaurant Mamma Angelina on site offers a welcome alternative to standard Cantabrian fare.

Note: rooms facing the main street can be noisy at weekends — request a quieter rear room if you’re a light sleeper. Additionally, the breakfast buffet runs from 07:00 to 11:00am
