Albergue San Saturnino in Ventosa is a private albergue offering accommodation exclusively for pilgrims with a credential on the Camino Francés. Founded in 2001 on Calle Mayor, it sits in the village of Ventosa, about 10 km from Navarrete between Logroño and Nájera. It offers 40 beds in dormitories plus a private double room. In addition, it features a kitchen, two dining rooms, a large lounge, terrace, garden, Jacobean library, small shop, laundry facilities, covered bike storage, and free Wi-Fi. Host Enrique Valentín, founder of the Red de Albergues del Camino de Santiago, manages the network behind many Camino albergues. Moreover, the property stays open all year, although winter opening should be confirmed. The rate is €15.
Conveniently located in Ventosa, the albergue sits in a quiet hillside village surrounded by vineyards and open countryside. Furthermore, it marks the start of the “1 Kilómetro de Arte” outdoor sculpture route on the approach into town.
