Pilgrim Insight
Albergue Parroquial de Belorado is one of the most unique parochial albergues on the Camino de Santiago. The former theatre setting creates a memorable atmosphere for pilgrims walking the Camino Francés. The old stage is now a kitchen. Meanwhile, the former auditorium serves as a communal dining room for pilgrims. In addition, the volunteer Swiss hospitaleros are widely praised for their warm Camino hospitality. The evening pilgrim blessing is also open to walkers of all faiths and backgrounds.
Note: no advance reservations are accepted, so beds are allocated first-come, first-served. Additionally, a pilgrim credential is required to stay. If the albergue appears closed on arrival, pilgrims should enquire at the Casa Parroquial on Plaza de San Francisco.
