The building is protected as an important example of civil architecture in the Merindad de Estella. The albergue has 60 beds in dormitories, private rooms, and apartments. Facilities include a bar-cafeteria, communal kitchen, garden with foot bath, panoramic terrace, ping-pong, laundry, bike storage, and free Wi-Fi. It is fully accessible and open from April to October.
It is located in the hilltop village of Sansol, 2 km from Torres del Río. Therefore, it sits between Los Arcos and Logroño on Stage 7 of the Camino Francés.
