Overview

Albergue de Peregrinos de Zubiri is a municipal albergue offering dormitory accommodation exclusively for pilgrims on the Camino Francés. The Albergue has 72 beds across 8 rooms with a shared kitchen, washing facilities and access to the adjacent municipal swimming pool in summer.

The building sits beside the Río Arga, which accompanies pilgrims all the way to Puente la Reina over the stages ahead.  Zubiri has shops, bars and a pharmacy in the village and the albergue is fully accessible for pilgrims with reduced mobility.

Pilgrim Insight

The albergue has a generous common area making it a natural gathering point with the riverside setting beside the Arga providing a peaceful place to rest tired legs.

This albergue opens from March to November and works on a first come first served basis..  Reservations are not accepted so aim to arrive by mid-afternoon and a pilgrim credential is required to stay.
