Albergue Mendizábal is ideal for pilgrims seeking a quiet, small, and personal stop off the main route. The converted stone house keeps its traditional Navarrese character. Muruzábal is also much quieter than nearby Puente la Reina, making it a good base to visit the chapel without crowds.
Note: the albergue is open year-round, but it’s best to confirm in advance during winter. Breakfast is included, offering good value for a small, personal stay on the Camino de Santiago.
