Moreover, the traditional breakfast with sobaos and local produce is a genuine treat before a day’s walking.

Note: the original mountain-house architecture means there is no lift — worth considering with a heavy pack after a long stage. Additionally, breakfast includes sobaos pasiegos — the iconic Cantabrian pastry and a highlight of the Camino del Norte.
