Aperçu de la situation des pèlerins
El Castañu de Cué is a classic Camino del Norte stop — unpretentious, welcoming, and genuinely good value. The cider house restaurant below the pensión serves authentic Asturian cuisine including superb local cheese boards, cider, and home-cooked guisos. Moreover, the terrace is a popular meeting point for pilgrims and locals alike — a lively spot to recover after a long coastal stage on the Way of St. James.
Note: check-in is from 16:00 to 20:00, so plan your arrival accordingly. Additionally, advance booking is recommended in July and August when Cué fills quickly with both pilgrims and coastal visitors.
